Local Team Collaboration

  • Join our close-knit team of 6 physicians and 28 CRNAs at Piedmont Columbus Midtown.
  • Work alongside our diverse, cohesive team, driven by a shared mission to support one another genuinely.
  • Founded in 1836, Piedmont Columbus Regional is a leading healthcare provider in west Georgia, serving the Columbus, GA area. area with a network of health and medical services through its two hospital campuses.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified/eligible in anesthesia.
  • Completed Pediatric Fellowship required.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • New fellows are welcome to apply.

Scheduling

  • We offer various flexible scheduling options, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
  • Physicians will split a mixture of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, primarily Monday through Friday, with one weekend per month.
  • No call.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage level II trauma patients, OB/GYN, pediatrics, neuro, orthopedic, and general.
  • Piedmont is seeking to expand their NICU services to serve their pediatric patient population.
  • Be a part of a growing pediatric team at Piedmont Midtown. The hospital has already built out the new Children's Hospital connected to the main campus and is looking for a Pediatric fellowship-trained anesthesiologist to be a partner in this service line growth.

  • Located on the Georgia/Alabama border, Columbus offers a big city with a small-town feel. It is the second-largest city in Georgia after Atlanta, but it boasts a more affordable housing market in the city and the surrounding areas.
  • Love the outdoors? Columbus has ample running trails as well as a beautiful Uptown district boasting many restaurants and outdoor parks for your furry friends!

Compensation

  • Annual salary $600k
  • Strong commencement bonus offered, up to $100k.
  • 1099 option available.
  • Generous scheduled time off up to 13 weeks a year.
