About the job

Join a dynamic team and become the next Associate Program Medical Director and Hospitalist in St. Louis, Missouri, at SSM St. Joseph West

We believe in bringing "better" to our local community in Lake St. Louis, Missouri – one of the fastest-growing communities in Missouri - better care, better collaboration, and a deep commitment to the people we serve. If you're looking for a role that supports your professional growth and your connection to a vibrant community, we’d love to talk.

We are hiring a Lead Hospitalist/Associate Program Director. This is a rare opportunity to serve in a leadership capacity while providing day hospitalist care to patients.

  • Hospitalist Duties: Manage admissions, especially during morning hours, round on patients, and manage rapid responses for own patients.
  • Open ICU with minimal expectation of our team - full critical care support.
  • No procedures or code blue response required.

Living and working in Lake St. Louis

  • Suburban living in Lake St Louis - one of the fastest-growing communities in all of Missouri.
  • The hospital is located on the lake and provides the opportunity to be a part of new growth and development: new residential communities, new schools, new shopping stores, or you can be just a few minutes from rural living. If you prefer to be closer to St Louis, that is an option too - and it is still an easy commute.
  • Louis Lampert International Airport offers easy access to international travel and is located approximately 30 minutes from the hospital.
  • The St. Louis metro area offers excellent school options, including public, private, and parochial schools.

Rewards and Compensation

  • The compensation package includes clinical shift pay, a leadership stipend, and incentive bonus opportunities.
  • Productivity and quality incentives are offered in addition to the base salary.
  • Commencement bonus and relocation assistance are also available.
