We are hiring a Critical Care Nocturnist . A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration

• At Montefiore Nyack Hospital, our strong, collaborative team includes 4 Intensivists and 2 Critical Care APPs.
• Within the hospital, we work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth care transitions.
• We encourage our team members to participate actively in committees and become part of the larger hospital team.
• As an award-winning Certified Stroke Center, Nyack Hospital has dedicated specialists and resources to expedite care for stroke patients.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in critical care medicine.
• Active New York License and DEA.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling

• 12-hour day shift and 12-hour night shift model.
• Average of 15 shifts per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead team of critical care professionals to provide comprehensive medical care to ICU patients as part of the Intensivist team in a 391-bed, Level III trauma center.
• Value teamwork as part of the larger multi-disciplinary team.

• Competitive Shift-Based Compensation with an average annual income of $450,000 to $480,000, based on shifts worked.
