Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking a hardworking professional Resident Assistant (RA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Registry PRN . Park Place of Elmhurst is a member of the Providence Life Services family where we are committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve!

One must be available to work one weekend per month & work 2 Holidays per year.

Key Responsibilities

Park Place of Elmhurst is seeking RA's & CNA's to provide resident care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with established standards, and administrative policies. Maintaining accurate and complete records of care. Performs all functions in compliance with CDC, OSHA, JCAHO, State and Federal Regulatory bodies. Communicates and interprets the goals of care to the resident and family/caregiver.

• Assist in toileting, bathing, and daily grooming of assigned residents.
• Maintain a calm, pleasant living environment for the residents.
• Report and document changes in medical condition to the appropriate nurses on duty.
• Give and receive shift reports to ensure consistent medical care is delivered.
• Measure and record vital signs as necessary or instructed.
• Participates in life enriching activities for our residents.

Requirements

• Must have a compassionate, empathetic and nurturing personality.
• Must truly have a desire to care for the elderly.
• Must be mature and career minded.
• Must have a Nursing Assistant Certification for the State of Illinois.
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus.
