Imaging Assistant - Womens Center - Lihue, HI

Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. Here, clients receive health screenings, diagnostic tests and treatment services in bone health and osteoporosis, menopause, ultrasound, women’s counseling and coaching, aesthetics, massage, acupuncture and various educational classes geared toward healthy living.

As the Imaging Assistant, you will help the Imaging Services department at Wilcox provide the highest quality diagnostic technology and service to our patients and their families. In this role, you will provide a variety of clerical and clinical support activities to the imaging program. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work with others in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: High School or equivalent. One (1) year hospital, clinic, doctor’s office, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Completion of a nurse aide or medical assistant program. Current BLS card. Previous experience in an Imaging Department. Data entry experience.
