Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i’s only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6,000 babies a year, and is also a medical teaching and research facility. Specialty services for patients throughout Hawai'i and the Pacific Region include intensive care for infants and children, 24-hour emergency pediatric and adult care, critical care air transport and high-risk perinatal care. Imaging offers a wide range of technologies from simple X-rays to complicated interventional radiological procedures. Our highly trained professionals and state-of-the-art facilities provide quality imaging services for patient diagnosis and treatment, including: Diagnostic Radiology, Computerized Tomography, Mammography, Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Electroencephalography, Electrocardiogram, Holter Monitoring and Echocardiography.

As the Imaging Assistant, you will help the Imaging Services department at our hospitals and clinics provide the highest quality diagnostic technology and service to our patients and their families. In this role, you will provide a variety of clerical and clinical support activities to the imaging program. Minimum Qualifications: High School or equivalent. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. One (1) year hospital, clinic, doctor’s office, or related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Completion of a nurse aide or medical assistant program. Previous experience in an Imaging department. Data entry experience.
