About the Opportunity

Hawai‘i Pacific Health is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full time employed position to join our team on the island of Kaua‘i.

What You’ll Do

+ Join a professional team of caregivers committed to delivering life‑changing surgical services to the Kaua‘i community.

+ Collaborate closely with physicians to provide comprehensive anesthesia care to assigned patients.

+ Perform pre‑anesthetic preparation and evaluations to ensure safe and effective anesthesia planning.

+ Select and administer appropriate anesthetic and related agents based on patient needs and clinical best practices.

+ Deliver high‑quality, detail‑oriented patient care with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

+ Graduate of an approved nurse anesthesia program by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia.

+ Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse and Hawai‘i Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License.

+ Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS).

+ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) within two years of hire.

+ Current ACLS certification.

+ CRNA experience.

About Wilcox Medical Center

Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology.
