Job Summary
ICU Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Registered Nurse (RN) - Night shift - begins October 19, 2026, and ends January 18, 2027. This role involves providing specialized care for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, including post-operative management of open heart cases on immediate post-op days. The ideal candidate must be skilled in handling complex cardiac cases in an acute care setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Seeking an ICU Cardiovascular RN with experience in post-operative cardiac care, including handling fresh open heart surgery cases on post-op day zero.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure to submit, valid ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, minimum of 2 years of experience, BSN degree is required.
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:15 AM, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be able to take fresh open heart cases on post-op day zero. Experience in managing acute cardiac patients is essential. Charting system used is EPIC.
