Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Maine
This Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position is located in Maine and involves providing high-quality, patient-centered emergency care. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring safety and confidentiality.
Job Details
- Position Description: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in accordance with state and organizational standards. The nurse must communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team, maintain confidentiality, and support the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
- Certifications and Qualifications: Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Maine or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within six months of hire date.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience preferred.
- Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The position requires excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills. Ability to function independently and act rapidly in emergency situations is essential.
