SURGERY SCHEDULER

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate team member to join our medical office. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role includes patient coordination and administrative support. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and surgery or procedure scheduling is preferred.

Position Details

• Job Status: Full-Time Hourly

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule surgeries and medical procedures
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Respond to patient inquiries
• Handle prior authorizations (procedures, medications, imaging, workers’ compensation, etc.)
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform data entry in EHR systems

Required Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficiency with computers and EHR systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages and abilities
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

$21.00 - $27.00 based on experience
