Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, guaranteed 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
Job Description
Join a dedicated team at the JW Sommer Rehab unit, specializing in geriatric and adult rehabilitation. This position involves caring for a patient population with common diagnoses such as strokes, multiple trauma, and orthopedic/neuro conditions. The unit consists of 32 beds with a patient ratio of 1:7. You will utilize an electronic health record (EHR) system for documentation.
Responsibilities
- Administer IVs, blood transfusions, and provide wound care as required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care tailored to patient needs.
- Monitor and report patient progress and response to treatment.
Required Experience
IV experience, blood transfusion management, and wound care skills are essential for this role.
Certifications/Licensure
A valid RN license is required to apply for this position.
