About this role

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Cardiology team at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver , Colorado .

In this role, you will collaborate mainly with our team of 3 Interventional Cardiologist to assist with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to manage complex cardiology patients while enjoying a supportive team environment and excellent work-life balance.

Practice Details

• Practice at Saint Joseph Hospital , a premier cardiovascular care destination in downtown Denver.
• Work four 10-hour weekday shifts with no call and no weekend responsibilities .
• Round on interventional cardiology patients in the hospital.
• Perform pre-procedure evaluations and workups for cardiac catheterization cases.
• Transition to outpatient clinic responsibilities once inpatient rounding is complete.
• Enjoy a manageable patient volume with exposure to a broad spectrum of cardiovascular conditions and advanced therapies.

What you’ll bring

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, required
• Valid license/certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado or able to obtain, required
• DEA and prescriptive authority, required
• BLS and ACLS, required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working as an NP or PA in a cardiology setting, required

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$57.33 - $88.47
