Responsibilities

Assists in the continuity of patient care delivery within an assigned area by providing direct personal care, rehabilitative measures, and supportive services.

****Positions available for multiple shifts and units****

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent with average reading, writing and oral communications skills
  • Successful completion of one of the following:
  • Nursing Assistant Program
  • Medical Assistant Program
  • Equivalent work history in a patient care environment

Rotation with total patient care at Nursing School

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • In designated areas, Certified Nursing Assistant is required
  • BLS - American Heart Association

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Nursing Assistant function
  • Certified Nursing Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant
