As a CNA, you’ll work under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to support residents with daily living activities, comfort, and dignity - while building meaningful connections along the way.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll assist residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and incontinence care. You’ll help with meals, mobility, range of motion exercises, transfers, and positioning. You’ll respond to call lights, take and record vital signs, document care and ADLs, and support restorative services per facility guidelines. You’ll also collaborate with the care team and participate in interdisciplinary meetings as needed to support resident care plans.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Licenses/Certification

• Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
• Valid CPR certificate preferred.

Experience

• Six months experience in a long term-care environment preferred.

NOTE: A CNA who successfully completes an approved advanced skills training curriculum and/or has demonstrated experience in a needed clinical specialty area, e.g. ventilator, pulmonary, and tracheostomy (VPT), can be classified as a CNA II.
